Preview of 5/27/98 Metro show

Wednesday, May 27, ADAM WEST at Metro Cafe (1522 14th St. NW, 202-588-9118), show starts at 9:00 pm. Adam West opens for "Seattle rock gods," ZEKE (Epitaph Records). When I was putting music to the movie "Eat Me!" I needed some great, kick-ass DC rock. Adam West totally fit the bill. They're hard driving and aggressive but with the inventiveness and musicallity that make a hard-rock band great. Expressive lyrics and melodies round it out. I've never seen them live, but I love their CD, "Mondo Royale" (Fandango Records).
